I walked outside today
and found myself on Earth.
The sky rolled before me and
for a moment I was of the planet.
I was the most important thing
and the least.
The largest living creature
and the smallest.
I felt the Earth move beneath me.
In my minds eye I saw Us
real as sight,
Moving through the body called Space.
There we took our place
as if that were the only place
that we could be.
United in a galactic symphony of chaos.
The universal order was crystal clear.
How beautiful we looked.
Unique and the same in the eyes of the Universe.
How proud I was to be a part of infinity.
A glimpse of divinity
so that I might understand
What it means to be One.
